I checked my mail this morning, and there was WonderFox from GOTD. Yesterday I started looking at other DVD rippers, to see if one would do it. I tried tweaking all WonderFox's settings to make it pillarbox the video, to no avail. The player is too stupid to recognize when I have a fullscreen DVD, or fullscreen file on the USB stick, and displays it as widescreen, so everybody looks fat. But now we have a portable widescreen DVD player, which will also take a USB stick. I've used WonderFox DVD Ripper 2.-something since it was a GOTD, to rip DVDs to watch on my iPhone.
